Symphony No. 8 is the eighth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1887 and revised in 1890. The work is a large-scale late-Romantic symphony characterised by expansive orchestration, dense harmonic textures and monumental climaxes, and it occupies a central place in Bruckner's late output and in the development of late 19th-century symphonic writing.
