Symphonie Nr. 7 is the seventh symphony by Austrian composer Gustav Mahler, completed in 1905. The large-scale late-Romantic orchestral work combines expansive forms and rich harmonic language with contrasting nocturnal and exuberant passages, notable for its colourful orchestration and its placement in Mahler's middle period as a bridge between Romanticism and emerging modernist tendencies.
