Athalia

Athalia is an oratorio by Georg Friedrich Händel, first performed in 1733. The work features Baroque choral writing, solo arias, recitative and orchestral accompaniment, and occupies a place in Handel's output as an example of his work in the English oratorio tradition during the 1730s.
