Terje Rypdal

Terje Rypdal is the debut studio album by Norwegian guitarist Terje Rypdal, released in 1971. The music is a blend of jazz improvisation and atmospheric electric guitar with spacious, slow-moving arrangements, and it introduced the ambient and orchestral textures Rypdal explored in later recordings within European jazz.
