Symphonie n°3 "Rhénane"

Symphony No. 3 "Rhenish" is the third symphony by German composer Robert Schumann, completed in 1850. Rooted in the Romantic symphonic tradition, the work features broad, lyrical themes, rich orchestration with prominent brass and woodwind writing and a processional final movement evoking the Rhineland, and it occupies an important place in Schumann's orchestral output as a mature synthesis of his lyrical impulses and structural ambitions.
