Sinfonie Nr. 9
Album by Anton Bruckner & Eugen Jochum & Staatskapelle Dresden
Sinfonie Nr. 9 is the ninth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, composed between 1894 and 1896. The work is a large-scale late-Romantic symphony characterised by expansive orchestral textures, emphatic brass chorales and a slow finale left incomplete at his death, representing the culmination of Bruckner's symphonic development and a significant late example of his structural and harmonic language.
