Sternklang (1969-71) Parkmusik für 5 Gruppen
Album by Karlheinz Stockhausen
Sternklang (1969–71) is a park-music composition by Karlheinz Stockhausen, written between 1969 and 1971. The work is scored for five spatially separated groups of performers combining vocal and instrumental timbres, outdoor performance conditions and controlled aleatory to create immersive, moving sound environments, and it reflects Stockhausen's exploration of spatial music and collective performance practices in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
