Sinfonie Nr. 6 is the Sixth Symphony in A major by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1879. The symphony is a late-Romantic orchestral work characterised by broad, organ-like sonorities, rich chromatic harmony and contrapuntal textures, and it occupies a transitional place in Bruckner's output between his Fifth and later Seventh symphonies as he experimented with form and orchestration.
