Sinfonie Nr. 7 A-Dur / Coriolan-Ouvertüre

This release is a recording of two orchestral works by Ludwig van Beethoven, composed in 1807 and in 1811–1812. Rooted in the Classical tradition yet pointing towards Romantic tendencies, the music features bold rhythmic drive, pronounced dynamic contrasts and orchestral colour that illustrate its place in Beethoven's middle period and its influence on later symphonic repertoire.
