Lookin’ Ahead
Album by The Crusaders
Lookin' Ahead is the second studio album by American jazz group The Jazz Crusaders, released in 1962. It features a hard bop and soul-jazz sound characterised by a trombone–tenor front line, blues-inflected melodies, driving rhythms and concise improvisations that marked the group's early establishment as a distinctive small-group voice in early 1960s jazz.
