Symphony No. 7
Album by Anton Bruckner & Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest & Hartmut Haenchen
Symphony No. 7 is the seventh symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1883. The large-scale late-Romantic orchestral work is characterised by expansive brass chorales, broad string melodies and complex developmental structures, and it represents a mature point in Bruckner's symphonic output that had notable influence on Austro-German symphonic practice in the late 19th century.
