Art of Fugue

The Art of Fugue is a collection of fugues and canons by German composer Johann Sebastian Bach, published in 1751. The work is written in Baroque contrapuntal style and uses a single principal subject that Bach develops through strict counterpoint and greater contrapuntal complexity, and it was composed near the end of his life when he concentrated on fugal technique.
