Le Sacre du Printemps · Petrouchka
Album by Igor Fyodorovitch Stravinsky & Symfonický orchestr Českého rozhlasu & Vladimír Válek
Le Sacre du Printemps · Petrouchka are orchestral ballets composed by Igor Stravinsky in 1913 and 1911, respectively. They exemplify Stravinsky's early modernist style, featuring driving, irregular rhythms, fragmented motifs, dense and colourful orchestration and a harmonic language that challenged late-Romantic norms, marking a major turning point in the composer's career and in early 20th-century music.
