Turandot is an opera by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini, premiered in 1926. The score combines late-Romantic orchestration with demanding, declamatory vocal writing and motifs drawing on East Asian-inspired sonorities, and it stands as Puccini's final opera, left unfinished at his death and premiered posthumously.
