Symphonie No. 7 is the seventh symphony by Austrian composer Gustav Mahler, completed in 1905. The work is a late-Romantic orchestral piece characterised by nocturnal moods, contrasting scherzo-like dances and expanded orchestral colour, occupying a transitional place in Mahler's output as he experimented with novel textures and structural contrasts.
