Sonate H-moll
Album by Franz Liszt & Maurizio Pollini
Sonate H-moll is a piano sonata by Hungarian composer Franz Liszt, completed in 1853. The single-movement Romantic work employs thematic transformation, wide dynamic and harmonic range, dense textures and virtuosic piano writing, and it represents a key example of Liszt's mid-period experiments with large-scale form and advanced harmonic language that influenced later composers.
