Album by Reinhold Moritzevich Glière & Београдска филхармонија & Gabriel Feltz
Symphony No. 3 "Ilya Murometz" is a symphony by Reinhold Glière, composed in 1911. The work is a large-scale Russian nationalist symphony that relies on dense orchestration and extensive brass and string writing and that draws programme material from East Slavic epic poetry, and it is among Glière's largest works within the late Romantic Russian tradition, with expansive form and rich orchestral colour.
