The Poem of Ecstasy is a symphonic poem by Russian composer Alexander Scriabin, composed in 1907–08 and first performed in 1908. The work exemplifies Scriabin's late mystic style, featuring expanded chromatic harmony, dense orchestral textures and a continuous, rhapsodic form that represents a move from his earlier piano works to large-scale orchestral and philosophical exploration in his career.
