The Blue Notebooks
Album by Max Richter
The Blue Notebooks is the second studio album by German-born British composer Max Richter, released in 2004. The album combines contemporary classical and ambient minimalism, pairing spare piano and string arrangements with subtle electronics and spoken-word passages, and marked a consolidation of Richter's post-minimalist, post-classical aesthetic that contributed to the development of modern neo-classical and ambient music.
