Symphony no. 9 ’’Choral’’

Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125, commonly called the Choral Symphony, is the ninth symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven, completed in 1824. Musically, it is a large-scale early Romantic symphony that expands the classical symphonic form by adding vocal soloists and a chorus in the final movement and features dense counterpoint and broad orchestral textures, and it was composed near the end of Beethoven's life and has characteristics of his late style.
