Flute Fever

Album by Jeremy Steig

Flute Fever is the debut album by American jazz flautist Jeremy Steig, released in 1964. The music is rooted in straight-ahead and post-bop jazz, with agile, blues-tinged flute lines, crisp acoustic rhythm accompaniment and an emphasis on improvisation that placed the album early in Steig's recorded output and signalled his focus on flute-led small-group jazz.
