Mein Vaterland
Album by Bedřich Smetana & Gewandhausorchester Leipzig & Václav Neumann
Má vlast (German: Mein Vaterland) is a cycle of six symphonic poems by Czech composer Bedřich Smetana, composed between 1874 and 1879. The music uses Romantic orchestration and folk‑inspired motifs to portray Bohemian landscapes and history, marking a culmination of Smetana's mature style and an important work in the development of 19th-century Czech national music.
