Directstep

Directstep is an album by American jazz pianist Herbie Hancock, released in 1979. The record continues Hancock's exploration of jazz-funk and synthesiser-led fusion, featuring prominent synthesiser textures, electronic rhythms and vocoder-treated vocals, and sits within his late 1970s move towards more electronic and dance-oriented sounds.
