Vespro della Beata Vergine (Vespers of 1610) is a collection of sacred vocal and instrumental works by Claudio Monteverdi, published in 1610. The music combines late Renaissance polyphony with emerging Baroque sonorities and concertato techniques, alternating large-scale choral textures with soloistic and instrumental writing and representing a turning point in Monteverdi's career as he moved from madrigals toward the new Baroque idiom.
