Klavierkonzert Nr. 2 G-dur is the second piano concerto by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, composed in 1879–1880. The concerto is a late-Romantic work characterised by expansive, lyrical themes, rich orchestral colours and technically demanding piano writing, and it represents a development in Tchaikovsky's approach to piano and orchestral writing following his earlier concerto.
