Symphony No. 6 in F major, Op. 68 is the sixth symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven, completed in 1808. The work uses programme-like orchestration to evoke rural scenes and nature through lyrical melodies, clear textures and prominent woodwind colour, and it marks an important moment in Beethoven's output as he explored more descriptive, Romantic-era tendencies in his symphonic writing.
