Jesus of Cool is the debut solo studio album by English singer-songwriter Nick Lowe, released in 1978. Musically it blends power pop, new wave and pub rock elements with concise, melodic songwriting and a pop-oriented sound, marking Lowe's transition from his earlier pub rock work into a solo, more contemporary direction in the late 1970s.
