Gayane is a ballet suite by Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian, composed and first performed in 1942. The suite blends Armenian folk motifs with Soviet-era orchestral writing, featuring energetic rhythms and colourful orchestration, and represents a central ballet in Khachaturian's mid-career output and in the Soviet ballet repertoire.
