Sorcerer is a studio album by American jazz trumpeter Miles Davis, released in 1967. The record continues Davis's exploration of modal and post-bop textures, featuring restrained, conversational improvisation, intricate rhythmic interplay and an increasingly abstract approach that situates it in the late-1960s phase of his career leading toward further experimental directions.
