Symphonie Nr. 5

Symphony No. 5 is the fifth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1876. The work is a large-scale late-Romantic symphony characterised by complex counterpoint, dense brass and string textures and expansive developmental procedures, and it occupies a notable place in Bruckner's mature symphonic output for its structural rigour and substantial orchestral writing.
