Detroit

Detroit is an album by the Gerald Wilson Orchestra, released in 2009. The music is rooted in big band jazz with bold brass writing, complex harmonies, shifting textures and driving rhythms, and the release came late in Wilson's career when he continued to write and arrange for a large ensemble.
