A-Ronne / Cries of London
Album by Luciano Berio & The Swingle Singers
A-Ronne / Cries of London is a release of two vocal works by Italian composer Luciano Berio, composed in 1974 and 1984. Both pieces use extended vocal techniques, spoken text and dense, collage-like vocal textures that sit between avant-garde experimentalism and modern classical composition and they reflect Berio's ongoing exploration of the voice in his later career.
