Album by Antonín Dvořák & Sir Alexander Gibson & London Philharmonic Orchestra

Symphony No. 9 in E minor ('From the New World') is the ninth symphony by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák, completed in 1893 during his stay in the United States. The work employs late-Romantic orchestral writing infused with influences drawn from American folk music and Native American melodic elements, and reflects a point in his career where he synthesised his Bohemian musical background with new American influences.
