Symphony No. 6 in B minor, 'Pathétique' is the sixth symphony by Russian composer Пётр Ильич Чайковский, completed and premiered in 1893. Stylistically rooted in the late Romantic tradition, it features expansive melodies, rich orchestration and an unconventional emotional trajectory that culminates in an unusually slow, sombre finale, and it represents the composer's final completed symphony in his career.
