Album by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart & Cuarteto Casals
String Quartets Dedicated to Joseph Haydn: K. 428 / K. 465 "Dissonanz" / K. 387 is a collection of string quartets by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed between 1782 and 1785. Musically the quartets use Classical-era forms with transparent textures, measured phrases, contrapuntal passages and notable harmonic turns, and they come from a period when Mozart deepened his chamber writing after study of Haydn.
