Symphonies nos. 3 & 7

Album by Antonín Dvořák & Wiener Philharmoniker & Myung-Whun Chung

Symphonies Nos. 3 and 7 are orchestral works by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák, composed in 1873 and 1885 respectively. They represent different stages of his output — the third shows early Romantic and Slavic influences with compact structures and vivid orchestration, while the seventh displays a more mature, dramatic orchestral language that marks his development in the later 19th century.
