Piano Sonata in B minor
Album by Franz Liszt & Jenő Jandó
The Piano Sonata in B minor is a solo piano sonata by Hungarian composer Franz Liszt, composed in 1853. Written as a single continuous movement employing extensive thematic transformation, virtuosic pianism and broad harmonic and dynamic contrasts, it marks a move toward more integrated large-scale forms in Liszt's output and influenced later Romantic piano repertoire.
