Drumming

Drumming is a 1971 composition by American composer Steve Reich. The work employs interlocking rhythmic patterns for tuned drums, woodblocks and voices to investigate phased repetition and gradual process, and it represents a pivotal point in Reich's early development of minimalist rhythmic techniques.
