Songbook is a studio album by American saxophonist Kenny Garrett, released in 1997. It is rooted in modern jazz and post-bop, with acoustic quintet textures, modal harmonies and extended improvisation, and it came after Garrett had spent years as a sideman and then began to lead his own groups.
