Symphony No. 1 in E major, Op. 5 is the first symphony by Russian composer Alexander Glazunov, completed in 1881. The work displays late-Romantic orchestration, flowing melodic lines and classical formal balance, and it represents an early demonstration of his compositional maturity and place within the Russian orchestral tradition.
