Bolero
Album by Maurice Ravel
Boléro is an orchestral composition by French composer Maurice Ravel, completed in 1928. The work is constructed around a persistent ostinato and a single repeated theme that progresses through gradual increases in orchestral colour and dynamics, and it occupies a prominent place in Ravel's later output as an illustration of his focus on orchestration and rhythmic repetition.
