String Quartets
Album by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart & Guarneri Quartet
String Quartets is a collection of chamber works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed between 1770 and 1791. The works sit in the Classical chamber-music tradition and are marked by formal clarity and melodic invention, and later quartets have increased contrapuntal writing as they span Mozart's early to mature periods while he refines his approach to harmony and texture.
