Piano Concerto
Album by Arnold Schönberg & Alfred Brendel & SWR Sinfonieorchester Baden‐Baden und Freiburg & Michael Gielen
Piano Concerto is a piano concerto by Austrian composer Arnold Schoenberg, completed in 1942. The work employs twelve-tone serial technique with dense orchestration and angular piano writing, marking one of Schoenberg's later orchestral compositions from his American period and occupying a distinctive place in his move from free atonality to organised serialism.
