The Kiss and Other Movements is a studio album by English composer Michael Nyman, released in 1985. The album presents minimalist contemporary-classical chamber music characterised by repetitive motifs, driving piano and string textures, and occupies a transitional place in Nyman's career between his early film-related work and his later, more expansive ensemble pieces.
