Fantasias

Fantasias is a collection of instrumental consort pieces by English composer Henry Purcell, composed in the 1680s. The works are scored mainly for viol consort and use imitative counterpoint with a developing Baroque harmonic language, and they sit in Purcell's early career between Elizabethan consort traditions and later Baroque forms.
