Quinteto para Piano y Cuerdas en la mayor, "La Trucha"

Album by Franz Schubert

The Piano Quintet in A major (D.667) is a chamber work by Austrian composer Franz Schubert, composed in 1819. Scored for piano and a string quartet, it combines lyrical, song-like melodies with transparent chamber textures and a theme-and-variations movement derived from an earlier song, and it occupies a central place in Schubert's chamber output as an example of his melodic invention and expansion of the piano quintet genre.
