Symphony No. 2 in E minor, Op. 27 is a symphony by Sergei Rachmaninoff, completed in 1907 and premiered in 1908. The four-movement work employs rich late-Romantic orchestration, expansive melodies and chromatic harmonic language, and occupies a central place in Rachmaninoff's output as a consolidation of his symphonic approach following the difficulties surrounding his First Symphony.
