Combat Rock is the fifth studio album by English punk rock band The Clash, released in 1982. The album blends punk rock with funk, reggae, dub and elements of hip-hop, employing denser production, prominent percussion and a more polished sound that marked a shift from the band's earlier rawer recordings and reflected a transitional, commercially oriented phase in their career.
