Fire Music is an album by American saxophonist Archie Shepp, released in 1965. It is rooted in free jazz and avant-garde jazz, with intense improvisation, dissonant textures, dense ensemble passages and urgent spoken or shouted interjections, and it appears early in Shepp's career during his move toward politically charged approaches to jazz.
