Sinfonía nº 9 “Del Nuevo Mundo”

Symphony No. 9 'From the New World' is the ninth symphony by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák, composed in 1893. Rooted in the late-Romantic orchestral tradition, the work blends Bohemian folk-inspired melodies with themes influenced by American music, characterised by expansive orchestration, prominent woodwind solos and dramatic contrasts, and it occupies a central place in Dvořák's output and in the wider symphonic repertoire of the period.
